I have often eaten at your restaurants with 6 to 10 people in our party. On every occasion we booked, our number and name was taken, we arrived and had a great meal, paid for it and everyone has been very satisfied.
I'm now booking for another family lunch (14 people) and suddenly I'm asked for a 50% deposit. Do you actually know how many restaurants in Jhb ask for a 50% deposit? - None. This now becomes a nightmare to organize since there are 4 different families and I now have to go to each one and get the required amount. Everyone is obviously unhappy since we've never had to do this in any restaurant we've been to. On top of this you have one lady only who can take bookings and she is not available after 2 pm. I phone twice and twice get no form emailed to me. On the 3rd occasion a form arrives which like a company booking form. I fill this is in, send it back to you last week and again there's no response.
Our company wanted to book a lunch there but after hearing about these issues has decided to go somewhere else. It's simply bad advertising.
