Is there anyone competent in Lancet Accounts?

My medical aid did not pay Lancet for a blood test conducted around June 2012 as Lancet did not submit this claim in time. A call centre agent contacted me demanding payment for this amount in November 2012. Firstly, I was not made aware of any outstanding amount, secondly, Lancet has direct claims with my medical aid, and thirdly, I did not submit this invoice late. In January 2013, I arranged to have this paid by my medical aid who unfortunately did not settle in full. In August 2013, an attorney representing Lancet contacts us to say there is an amount of R 143.00 outstanding. Here again, NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever from Lancet about this tiny amount outstanding. I have sent an email on the 3/09/2013 to Lancet to confirm if I have been listed on the ITC as yet, and of course no reply from Lancet!!! I wont pay until it can be confirmed that no ITC judgement has been made against me. If this is how the organisation is run, then how sure are we that the blood tests which Lancet conducts are actually correct?
