We have been members of Liberty for some time.
In April my wife was admitted to be evaluated by a physician and a psychiatrist.
I was told this is impossible. No motivation on my part was even listened to.
Sent e-mail on advice of Hellopeter (Liberty being, apparently a responder of note)
No reply since.
This week we at last managed to readmit her under the psychiatrist - now they won't pay for occupational assessment. My wife's psychiatric problem is linked to her medical condition and the change thereof.
My wife doesn't like to go to hospital, but the only way to get the job done is there.
I have been nursing for 25 years, my wife for more almost the same time before becoming medically unfit
(because of an injury on duty) yet we are treated as ignoramuses.
Complicating the issue is the fact that my wife's medical problems come not only from genetic disposition,
but from being HIV positive (Injury on duty) tests and medication for which we have been battling at times to
get Liberty to pay for - never mind getting them to understand that other health problems can be linked to it.
Adding irony to insult to injury, they won't pay for my Lexamil...
