I was informed by Medi-Clinic (Karen Efraim) that I have been listed on ITC due to non-payment by my medical aid for outstanding accounts in their Tzaneen hospital. What is very annoying in this matter is that I have not received any correspondence of demand for payments neither on my email address, telephone, work contacts et cetera. Medi-Clinic insists that I had ignored their calls for payment and even though I had asked them to provide me proof of their communication to me. Im very disappointed with Medi-Clinic and wish to inform people about unfair decisions that Medi-Clinic can take against their customers. An organisation like Medi-Clinic should deal with their accounts in a fair and reasonable manner as possible than unfairly listing their customers on ITC without concrete evidence that such customers have been informed of their non-payments. Should there been non-payment from my medical aid, why did Medi-Clinic not informed me about the outstanding accounts so that I can follow up with my medical aid rather than going straight to ITC? I have not received their letters of demand from Medi-Clinic and I have not ignored any of their calls.
