My son was admitted in Akasia Netcare. This anastatic was called by the hospital. After a month we received statement showing we owe this doctor. Medical aid advised that this was not an emergency and the doctor cannot claim for that however they then paid the normal amount for her work. I advised her accounts officers. Our nightmare then started. We received sms every week that they are now handing us over to attorneys. I do not even know this doctor not even her office. I asked so many time to see this doctor however her accounts officers are always very Rude, specifically Jackie Momberg. Why would the hospital work and expose us to this kind of doctors who charge more than 300% of the normal price and they say they can charge anything. Is the hospital not supposed to advice us of this kind of doctors before they even refer this doctor or is it their way of getting more money from patients? I do nt know this DR L Kabongo and never even saw her, so the hospital as you phoned this doctor need to advise me.
