Discovery NOT welcome at Medi-Clinic

Medi-Clinic does not accept Discovery Members

I was refused treatment by Durbanville Mediclinic on Saturday 12/01/2013. The reason, Durbanville Mediclinic Emergency Centre does not accept Discovery Members. I am on a Classic Comprehensive Plan with Discovery and have been for the last 10 year.
I had an emergency and was rushed to hospital. I needed medical attention. When I arrived at the Medi-Clinic Durbanville Emergency Centre, I was told this they don't accept Discovery Members. If I wanted treatment, I either had to pay the full amount or go to Cape Gate. I was shown a poster that read what Discovery confirms below. I had to somehow, while needing medical attention, try and collect funds to pay for the treatment. This at the emergency centre of a hospital. Discovery never told me that they have no partnership with Medi-Clinic Durbanville Emergency Centre. Thus, if you have an emergency either stay away from Discovery or Medi-Clinic Durbanville Emergency Centre.
I really have been struggling to get answers from both Discovery and Durbanville Medi-Clinic.
