My son was admitted in the early hours of today for a tonsilectomy & eventhough we were the first ones there we were the last to be attended to because the sister in the ward kept taking other kids before him, according to the patients right charter all nursing professionals must be properly identified with name & all other distinguish device's but the nurses here had no name tags then when we came back from theatre the proper post-operative care wasn't done my son was just left lying there his vital data wasn't checked properly none of the nurses cared to check up on us even when my son was vomiting. Upon discharge none of the nurses even bothered to do the proper assessment on the child, no health was given with regards to check-up or what diet to be given. I am very disappointed with the treatment I got today at carstenhof life clinic as I have been their loyal customer since 2009. I hope the people involved will be dealt with accordingly
