This is the 3rd time we have to complain here. Only way to get a response from Discovery Health. Advise to everyone reading this: NEVER JOIN DISCOVERY HEALTH. They claim to be the best to take care for cancer patients. NOT TRUE. Up to now, each and every prescription from the Oncologist and GP has been rejected as it is not on their LIST. Our pharmacist asked for the so-called list, and was told to look on their website, TALK ABOUT BAD SERVICE. And to top this, the pharmacist could not find it. Instead of focusing on getting better, my mom is just totally stressed out about payment of bills and medicine. She can not afford to buy medicine that is life saving. And here Discovery Health is sitting with a LIST and so-called panel, that's playing. They litteraly decide that my mom cant get medicine as prescribed by her Oncologist because its not on the list and ultimately decide that she can die because its not on their LIST. We are sick and soooo tired of this. The only way they will approve is when she's admitted to hospital? Rather pay R2500 p night for the hospital and add the prescription than approve the prescription for only R400??? How is this saving?
