I visited this dental practice because they are a practice associated with the momentum "ingwe" network and have an agreement with the medical aid to charge a certain rate.
I was told to pay cash for my consult (which is against agreement rules they have with momentum), fine I don't have a problem with that but then they over charge me so that my medical aid won't pay the full rate.
Everything should have been covered by medical aid if the dental practice had charged what they had AGREED to charge in their contract. My medical aid payed the amount claimed into the practice bank account because "that is the procedure", fine no problem there either. I am a medical student and opened this medical aid contract with momentum in my name and I understand how it works.
But now Dr Rotham inc. refuse to refund me even though they admitted to being in the wrong and over charging me and just say "sorry we can't do anything to help"
It's been a nightmare trying to deal with this practice and it's a shame that there are
