My mother saved for quite a few months to buy 2 new beds, which she purchased from Hugh Mathey's at Hypermarket in Durban North, the service there was extraordinary and my mother decided to buy the beds. The 3/4 bed that she purchased for my room, had a quality issue a few months in, where the padding on the sides of the mattress caved in... After back and forth telephone calls, Henwood came out and took the mattress to be fixed... When we were changing the mattress over, just over a month after it was fixed we noticed that the stitching on the edges of the mattress is not sown correctly and now the padding is caving in AGAIN (The mattress isn't even the same size as the base)... Now Henwood want to take the mattress back AGAIN to fix another mistake they made... It's funny how they were so happy to take the FULL amount of money for the bed but can't seem to FIX a problem the FIRST time... My mother refuses to let them take the mattress to fix again as we don't trust their workmanship anymore. If my mother does not get a new mattress we will be going to Consumer watch on ECR. If we ever look for new beds we will first ask who makes the bed as we will never buy Henwood ever again...
