The Old age home where my mother stays called the 1Military Hospital to ask for an ambulance to come and fetch my mom because of an emergency. They were given a number to the ambulance service, 012 319 3313, which they called at just past 3pm on 2/08/2013. They reported the emergency and asked for the ambulance to come, more than an hour later the ambulance did not arrive yet, they and I have been phoning the number since around 03H30 pm with no response, any other number you phone, no response, the casualty picked up the phone but simply referred you back to the unresponsive number.
Lets talk about Military medical care service... what service?
