I WENT TO THE LIFE MEDICAL CENTRE on th 11th of July 2013. I had travelled 220km to them that very morning as I was in extreme pain and my right leg was swollen due to an acute gout attack on my knee.
Iarrived at the emergency room @ apprx 9am. I was booked in and my vitals were taken, then I was asked to wait in the waiting area. I waited there for 2 and a half hours without anyone so much as telling me that I will be attended to or that they will see me in 2 hours time so I could have decided to stay or find another doctor.
In this time I saw many people come after me and were seen to before me, and please note that I am saying all this bearing in mind that I fully understand and accept that more serious cases WILL be attened to before me.
I eventually decided to leave there at which point everyone decided that they will see to me then... I refused to let them see me. because when I complained the firs time they just handed me a pamphlet regarding waiting times and colour codes... not acceptable at all... I had to go find another docter... wil NEVER USE THEM AGAIN
