I was contacted by Protea hotels to purchase their "ProCard", which seemed to be of benefit to me. On giving my cr card details, my account wad debited with R1400.00, The merchant advised that the transaction was declined. Possible problems with the bank. I pointed out to her that my balance has changed and that the amount was taken off. She advised that they were having some problems and that my account will be adjusted by the bank. She requested for another account of which I gave her my business debit card details. An amount of R 1400.00 x 2 was taken off and she still advised me that the transaction was declined. I immediately checked my account online whilst she was on the phone, and I saw that these amounts were indeed taken off my account. I spoke to her supervisor Aaron Naidu and he wanted me to send him a copy of my statement and that he will reverse these amounts. 7 days has passed and this has not been resolved as yet. I have sent them numerous emails requesting for their progress and nothing to date as yet. I have now reported this to FNB as and have also requested for my money to be refunded to me.
