Hi, in June 2012 I had a baby delivered by Dr Mafisa, oh what a great Doctor he is. Since he is not in my medical aid's network of Doctors, I had him sign a preassessment form agreeing to charge me according to my medical aid's rate. He signed the form and agreed to this. Now I am constantly receiving smses and letters from Practice Relief claiming an outstanding balance for the hospital treatment by the Doctor and I as well as my medical aid keep explaining to them that we are not liable for the payment since they have bridged the agreement. I personally spoke to the Doctor and discussed this with him and he acknowledged that they have made a mistake. I am still getting letters of demand after explaining to them over and over again and requesting them to also confirm with the Doctor. Please help me to get this case closed.
