IN RESPONSE TO MY PREVIOUS COMPLAINT I HAVE RECEIVED THIS UNACCEPTABLE RESPONSE ON HELLOPETER- "Hello Amandafs, Thank you for your post. We no longer have the functionality of the offering old (pre-2010) gym benefit. As a form of concession we now offer to put members on the current benefit structure with out having to pay the activation fee. The offer to join without the activation if is available for the grace period, which is a month after the membership has been discontinued.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS. VITALITY IS CLEARLY LOOKING AT ANY EXCUSE TO EXCLUDE MEMBERS SUCH AS MYSELF THAT DID NOT NEED TO PAY MONTHLY LEVIES. NEW MEMBERS ON THE NEW SCHEME HAVE TO PAY 20%. I HAVE A LETTER FROM MY DOCTOR CONFIRMING I WAS UNABLE TO REGULARLY VISIT THE GYM AND AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED VITALITY HAVE NO LEGAL REASON TO JUST CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP. NOW THEY WANT TO BACK PEDDLE AND OFFER ME THE CHANCE TO REJOIN WITHOUT PAYING THE ACTIVATION FEE. THIS IS STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH. VITALITY HAD NO RIGHT TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP TO START WITH AND AS I HAVE SAID THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY JUST LOOKING FOR ANY EXCUSE TO REMOVE EXISTING MEMBERS FROM THE ORIGINAL MEMBERSHIP STRUCTURE
