Rude customer service

On 09/07/2013 at 09h00 I made appointments for my sons to have eye tests done and an appointment was made for 16h30 and 16h45 on 23/07/2013, at 17h10 on 09/07/2013 I called to reschedule the appointment's from 16h30 to 17h00 and was told that was fine. On arriving at the Liberty Mall branch at 16h55 I was rudely told I had missed my appointments, I informed them that I had rescheduled the appointments and was rudely asked who I had spoken to, I had not taken a name as I had assumed that the person I spoke to knew their job! I received no apology for the inconvenience or even an offer to reschedule the appointments, I was treated as if I was in the wrong and if I was a joke and that they did not care about the whole event, in fact no staff member in the store even bothered to come and help sort out their mess! what I would like to know is if the appointment was supposedly still for 16h30 as they claim why was I not contacted to ask where I was? I will not use that branch again and recommend anyone else to use another optometrist as the staff there clearly don't care about their customers!
