Firstly I would like to convey my utterly disgusted feelings towards our public clinic in Lenasia Johannesburg south.
My Granny is a patient and has been a patient of the Lenasia Clinic for years now, on Monday my gran fell ill and her appointment at the hospital was scheduled for Wednesday however we took her to a lab to get a blood test done as she had Bruce's on her body. On Wednesday when she went for her appointment to the local clinic her doctor advised her to get a blood test done at Baragwaneth hospital, my gran advised the doctor that she had already done a blood test on Monday at the lab and provided the doctor with the results, the doctor in return retaliated and was very rude to 78 year old granny and told her to go to her private doctor as she has no time to assist her, she then returned my grans file to her and was asked to leave.
She was not given her appointment card or medication that she received for many years from the clinic.
My Gran has fallen ill on Friday evening we then took her to a private doctor on Sat only to find out that my Gran has water on her lungs. Who would have been liable Forbid should something had happened to my Gran?
