I took my Oakley Spectacles to Bafana for repairs 6 May 2013. He was battling to align the frame & promised to send the frame to the lab. I collected the frame 3 days later - lab was unable to fix the frame. The frame was still under warrantee & Bafana promised to order a new frame with lenses. Never received any feedback. Baltus called and said the frame was never sent to the lab, I must go back for him to have a look at it. I refused to drive up & down & he also promised to order a new frame. Baltus said there is a shortage of stock worldwide. Few days later, frame was unobtainable & advised I choose from substitute frames. I contacted Luxottica myself & confirmed with 2 people that they have stock of the Oakley Double Tap frames. Bafana & Baltus told me on several occasions that the frame is unobtainable locally & abroad. After 3 months I contacted the area manager... demanded a refund and went to Mellin Optometrist in Fourways on Saturday... received my Oakley Spectacles Monday afternoon - basically a day later.
