I have been with a medical aid for the last 9 months & considered moving to Discovery.
I phoned Discovery Medical to enquire about their plans & options.
I came across the KeyCare plus plan & cancelled my medical aid on the 25th of June, effective 31/07/13.
I then phoned the care line of discovery medical to enquire about the waiting periods when I was told that I;ll have to fill out & send my application through befor they are able to confirm the waiting periods that would aply
On 25/06/2013 15:46 I sent though the complete application with all other required docs (31pgs) & within 3 mins I got a ref no & letter stating that it will take 7 woring days to process my app. 8 days later I phoned them to enquire & was told that they are working on it
On 5/7/13 I received a mail that I need to re-sign & date the last page. I did so & sent it back.
On the 6th I received a mail stating that I have to send payslips of my spouse who wont even be on the medical aid as he is already on his own
I responded asking why thy require his details when he is not the applicant or depandant.
I have not received any response
It has now been 22 days since I sent my app.
What happend to 7??
