My wife went to see a dentist, whom then referred her to the specialist.
According to the specialist she has infection in her gums that needs to be removed.
CAMAF only paid for half of the first consultation and nothing for the second consultation.
Then for the pre-authorisation, they only want to cover R 2 500 of the R 25 000 operation.
According to them the operation is not necessary and part of the day to day benefits.
We pay our medical aid month on month without any hesitation.
Then they just bluntly refuse to cover you when it goes to it.
Pathetic.
Save you self a lot of money and go to Discovery they cover you!!!
