I was covered by momentum health before i got retrenched where i work. After retrenchment i cancelled all policies with momentum (September 2012), i learnt recently when i wanted to buy a house that i have been listed by Momentum with the credit bureau saying i haven't paid them for 2 months.
First and foremost, I wasn't paying momentum from my pocket, they were being paid by the company i worked for and last but not least, how am i being held liable for payments not made (if really any) to an extent that i be listed with the bureau?
I called momentum to enquire about this and their consultant said in their system it appears that all is up to date and i don't owe them anything, he further said i should go to the companies that are queering my credit status to double check this matter.
I got confirmation from ABSA where i applied for the home loan that indeed Momentum listed me.
What do i do now? who do i talk to?
