I reported two incidents, one of possible ethical if not conduct, the other of unethical practice. Both related to service providers at the Netcare Sunninghill Hospital. I received a call from the Netcare customer services. They then referred the call to Sunninghill Hospital Liaison person. The response from Netcare Sunninghill was that Netcare is merely a landlord who provides space to medical practioners/ service providers and have no responsibility for the conduct of their service providers.
This stance is contrary to their integrated report which clearly states in the Governance section that they apply the principals of the King 3 Code. Being a good Corporate Citizen is key in compliance to King 3. Turning a blind eye to and unethical practices in your operations is not being a good corporate citizen, neither is attempting to divorce yourself from such matters, by claiming that you are merely a lanlord!!!
I have requested a response from them, but to date have received none.
