Lancet
Handed over to attorneys for a paid up account

I'm extremely dissapointed with the gross incompetence that Lancet accounts has displayed towards me.
I had blood tests done with them at Olivedale Clinic when I was approximately 12 weeks pregnant..around April last year. For some reason their system would not recognise me as a Profmed member despite the fact that for all my other medical services I use the same medical aid without issues. So when I was billed, I sent the statement to Profmed who paid approx R1375.00 (medical aid statement dated 15/07/2012). None the less I got sms's from ITC that said I owed the full approx R1975.00 in Nov 2012. I went to Lancet Labs in person lodged a query. I was directed to accounts;I called them back and forth, emailed the statement from my medical aid back and forth. I paid up the outstanding R600.00 via nedbank and mailed that proof of payment too, end of November. Emailed and called the call center, accounts and [Email Removed] to confirm receipt of the proof of payment. Lo and behold, seven months later!! I get a letter that I have been handed over to attorneys for collection of approx R1306.40 on an account that was fully paid up. How frustrating! Somene fix this urgently!
