We have joined Bonitas as on the 3rd of June 2013. We did a cash payment into the account that was provided to us. This would have meant that the joining date would be from the 1st of June 2013. When we received the certificate of service it stated that we would only be covered from the 1st of July 2013.

When I spoke to one of their agents they asked me to send through the proof of payment which I gladly did, expecting that the certificate will be changed immediately, Bonitas however assured me that it will take the finance team 3 working days just to change the certificate, I could not believe this. I needed medical attention right away but could not get it due to the fact that I do not have a certificate to prove that I am on a medical aid.

I expected more from Bonitas, this is only the start of my journey with Bonitas and already I am having problems with this medical aid
