Non-Payment of Hospital Account

As required I obtained authorisation before going in for surgery on my ankle on the 24th April. I had the op and had to stay overnight for observation. The case manager at Linksfield Clinic forwarded the new codes etc that is required to Fedhealth for payment. The account is for /- R21, 000 of that only R800 odd has been paid. I have queried with Fedhealth and they have said that the correct codes have not been sent by the clinic and the authorisation requested was for a medical procedure not a surgical procedure. I have been backwards and forwards between the clinic and Fedhealth and the clinic has re-sent the additional data but to no avail. There has only been one person at the authorisations call centre that has tried to help, but it seems her hands are tied as the department authorising the payments seems to keep on rejecting the claim. I cannot carry on phoning every day querying this and then phoning Linksfield Clinic and them then sending through the codes again. Will someone please sort this out for me, I used to tell everyone to go onto Fedhealth, but this year I have had endless problems! No more recommendations for Fedhealth.
