Gift voucher for you Old washing Machine

I responded to a national add on radio around buying a Samsung deep cycle washing macine. The deal you buy the machine you trade your Old washing machine in and get a R500 back, the R500 back came in the form of a Gift card. I bought the Machine in December and got given the gift card shortly after. In January I went to spend the on the gift card only to find it had a Zero balance and needed to be activated, I called the number to activate the gift card to be told that Samsung must authorise the activation before they could activaye. I contacted Samsung Mid January 2013 to do this only to be given the run around, some of the client service people told me I did not qualify for the discount? I got hold of a person Brad Mackett? who informed me last week that they had problems with the marketing of this whole "story" but would be sorted last Friday and he would phone me personally to give me feedback "well still waiting for that call".
The whole story is unbelievable from a company like Samsung and unacceptable, I have asked to speak to CEO/MD but the client service staff are reluctant to put me through to the offices?
Please help "Deep cycle wash machine saga"
