We bought a Blingstallation voucher with our DSTV PVR decoder at Makro. Maybe Makro didn't make it clear to us, but we understood that a yellow paper was the voucher we had to present when Blingstallation came for the installation. When Blingstallation arrived yesterday, they informed me that the yellow paper, which contains a 'voucher number' was not the voucher but that I needed another piece of paper to do the installation.
On the back of this yellow paper it explains the T&C's for "this voucher". I don't think you can refer to "this voucher" if you are talking about a different piece of paper. I understand the need to have a voucher before the technician can start the work. What I don't understand is how Blingstallation customer service cannot be more helpful if we have our store slip as well as this yellow paper with the voucher number. According to me this should be enough proof that we purchased the voucher. Surely they can cancel the previous voucher.
I think their way of doing business is archaic and unaccommodating. I will definitely urge anyone wanting to install DSTV, wireless networks etc. to use other, helpful, local providers.
