I purchased a laptop on 29 June 2013 and since the time I purchased the laptop the time & date settings do not keep updated as it should be. Because this is Windows 8 loaded on the laptop, I searched for a resolution regarding keeping the date & time settings ~ without avail.

I have to re-set the date & time every time I sign onto the laptop which is not frequently and yesterday went to Incredible Connection Clearwater, where I actually purchased the laptop from and was told that I have to bring the laptop into the store for them to send same off to Samsung for the CMOS battery to be replaced which will take a minimum of 10 working days!!!

That is totally unacceptable, I was also told that in the event that I brought the laptop back within 10 days, this would not have happened, however when I purchased the laptop NONE OF THIS WAS TOLD TO ME.

I suggest that the required CMOS battery be sent to the store for installation or that I be contacted for a service consultant to install / replace the faulty CMOS battery at a place of my convenience and not have to wait 10 or more working days for this to happen.
