No Service support for customers

Yesterday evening some of the keys stopped working on my Macbook Pro. This morning I took it to iStore Menlyn tech support which confirmed that it was a hardware problem. I was told ten working days are required for repairs and I informed them I leave on 29th July on a business trip for two months and need my computer. They told me it could not be be fixed and ready by then, they could not give me a loan computer, I was left standing there with this issue and no interest from anyone to try and assist. When asked what I am left to do they told me to buy a external keyboard for R630. My mac is only eight months old, I expect better service support from Apple South Africa and it's agents. I am left with no alternative than the external keyboard and the fact that no one at the iStore was willing to assist me is unacceptable. I feel robbed by owning a very expensive product with superb service support everywhere else in the world but not in South Africa.
