When unable to sell me the latest Kirby model, they settled for servicing my existing one, and said they work Saturdays too, so would phone me same day with a service quote. The Kirby was then taken from my home to their premises on 29 June.By 3 July I had been promised several times that someone would call me back with a quote - after 5 calls I gave up and went to collect the vacuum cleaner. When I got there, it was in pieces, and they then produced a quote of R2200 to service the machine, which I accepted. It is now day 9 of the saga, and no-one can tell me if the vacuum cleaner is ready for collection or not. The manager Hettie is not available, and the receptionist Julie "will phone me back". I've made 5 calls today, and never want to hear the name Kirby again!
