I bought a new Galaxy S3 about 6 months ago. For the past 2 months at least I've had problems charging the phone fully. I've tried a number of different plug sockets, to no avail. I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 that I have charged in the same sockets with no problem at all.
Usually I leave my phone to charge overnight and it may go from a few % to as high as 34%. Usually to around 20% and once in a blue moon it goes to 100%. Sometimes I switch it off to see if that helps. It doesn't. I now have to charge the phone via my laptop and whilst I'm driving during the day which is a real pain. I haven't been able to figure the problem out.
My challenge however is that I use my phone for my business literally all day. The local service centre has asked me to charge it to 100% before they can test it (PROBLEM, I CAN'T) and then I will need to leave it with them. Since I don't have a decent replacement phone, this isn't a workable solution for me either. No phone - no business.
Come on Samsung, what can you do for me, an ardent Android (read Samsung) fan to fix this problem?
