Out of Box failure on Samsung Galaxy Pocket phone

I upgraded my cellphone contracts by Cell C Cape Gate, on the 13th May 2013. I got 2 Samsung Galaxy Pocket
model S5301 (first time i get Samsung phones). Within 4 days, both phones were taken back (phones freezes up and when it is on standby they switch off and can't be put back on without taking the battery out). Within a week, Cell C replaced the phones with new ones. After one day, one of the phones started to freeze again, and it was taken back to Cell C today.
I only heard good things from Samsung phones, but now i highly consider changing to a different brand. I am currently using my 3 year old Blackberry, and i still have my 8 year old Sony Ericsson, no problems since day 1. Maybe a brand change was not such a good idea.
