Lack of service and poor workmanship

Hi,
My 40" LCD Samsung TV failed after 2 years, 3 months (2 year guarantee). I took it to PMC Electronics, authorised Samsung repair agent (sic!). After reading Samsung used inferior capacitors, class-action suits in the USA, I enquired if the TV could be repaired under warranty since it was only 3 months out of warranty-complete failure of devices shortly after the warranty has expired should be embarrassing for any manufacturer.
I was always given the excuse that PMC was trying to get hold of Samsung to authorise the repair. After 1 month of waiting on PMC Electronics, I contacted Samsung myself, arranged my own reference number and made numerous follow-up calls in order to get the repair authorised by the Samsung.
PMC was completely useless/incapable of obtaining a warranty repair authorisation from Samsung for more than a month. Eventually Samsung agreed to pay for the replacement part due to my involvement, I covered the labour (PMC even charged me over R25 for "sundries" (sic!).
Upon collection, the unit was full of finger marks and later discovered the USB/HDMI ports were misaligned. I requested PMC to collect and repair their mistake and again they're incompetent.
