I purchased an Apple Mini I-pad as a gift from IStore Canal Walk. It was the same price at Incredible Connection but I-store offered an extended warranty and assured me of better after sales service as they are direct apple people. I then twice asked her for a black I-pad and the extended warranty - she handed me a bag with the I-pad and the warranty and I paid. I drove 4, 5 hours back to Oudtshoorn and handed the gift over. He opened it and it was a white I-pad. I was furious and immediately phoned IStore. Start of my nightmare!!! Only a call centre and store can't be contacted direct. I phoned the call Centre 7 times already. over the last 2 days apparently all Sore managers are in training. Got a call back and was told that at my cost I have to courier I-pad to them at Canal Walk and once they sure its' not damaged or scratched they will courier me a black one. Great service hey?? Up to now no answer from them yet. I tried twice today - Stanley the store manager is out again for the day.
Sharon a senior at the Call Centre also told me earlier we will get back to you. I-pad has not even been removed out the box yet! Imagine if It brakes??? After sales WHAT???
