A 7mth old and 3yr old ws unfairly expelled from Huggy Bears Pre-Primary on the 26th April 2013 when the parent of the both children questioned both the teacher and assistant teacher about an allegation made by their 3yr old daughter that her teacher was being ''mean'' to her.
The 3yr old has been at Huggy Bears since 10mnths and over the period of time been through 13 teachers and assistants combined. When the parent questioned the principal via an email which was in agreement and acceptance by a few other parents of the class, the principal Lisa Coreria replied in an extremely aggressive tone. Since then the mother of the 3yr old let the matter rest until the 13th teacher seemed to have obviously upset her daughter, which she had questioned like any other normal parent would do.
The mother was telephoned the day after questioning the teachers and was asked to take her children out of the school which breaches the contract between parent and school of a 1mnths notice period to be given.
Huggy Bears will be taken to task via the media and the department of education.
