I registered for 3 subjects to complete my honors degree in accounting on 9/3/2013 before closing date. I only needed 2 but wanted to take an extra 1 for extra credit. The subjects I registered for were fac4865, aui4863 and tax4861. On 18/3/2013 (after registration closed) I received an email on mylife that I had only been registered for fac and the other 2 were withheld as I could only choose 1 of them (even though the rules say a minimum of 1 must be chosen) and that I must advise which 1 I want to register for. I replied to the email stating my choice and haven't received any response even though the email was receipted. I tried calling the provided number which was just an automated answer stating that the call centres are closed and that I must email my query. If I cannot register for at least 1 more subject I will not be able to get my degree which ends this year which means wasted time and money. I am frustrated that unisa did not phone me while processing my registration as it would of taken 5 minutes to resolve. I have done everything correct per the rules and the poor service has resulted in this dragging over the due date, please can it be finalized so I can start studying.
