I went to Durban Unisa office on the 28/01/2013 to sort out registration for the current year as I was trying to register online and couln't coz their systems were down. I was assisted by a man who was very kind and helpful but unfortunately with the new rules that UNISA had implemented I could not register for my business degree as I was a module short from the previous years. I tried to explain to the man that I am almost 30 years old and I have completed atleast 2 modules so why can I not register? He queried with his supervisor and confirmed that I cannot do this degree until I complete a 1 year maths course and I could not register for that as it was closed. Out of desperation to study in some field I registered for a degree in Human science and realised that this course was not for me and I had to make a rushed decision because of registrations being closed. My passion is business and I think it is so unfair if UNISA to not allow me to study a degree in Business as I have done the business subject long ago. I emailed them as they dont have phones and they said I can cancel my course now but forfeit my money. I want to know if I can study BBA. They need phones for us to call
