My student number is 4463 873 6. I have an outstanding balance on my UNISA account. I have been receiving SMSs regarding the outstanding amount. There is no contact number on the SMSs received. When I try calling the accounts department to discuss the payment details/history etc. (as per the contact number on the UNISA website), the phone continuously rings with no answer. I sent an e-mail to the accounts department (as per the e-mail address on the UNISA website) regarding account payment and received no reply. Now my account is handed over to ITCBA for collections and I am supposed to pay a collection fee as well. I have already made a payment arrangement today because there was a contactable number for calling the ITCBA which was provided on the SMS which was received yesterday. I want this collection fee to be removed as there would be no need for my account to be handed over to collections if there was an efficient service provided by UNISA accounts department. I am sure that there are many who experience this problem which needs urgent rectification.
