Unisa
Unable to register and ignoring complaints

To start of I was suppose to complete my studies mid 2012, but due to incorrect advice given to me by a student adviser I completed 2 elective final year modules, instead of 2 required first year modules. I met the student adviser during my last visit in South Africa, at the UNISA office in Kimberley in January 2012. I specifically requested advice on which modules I needed to complete to finish my degree, neither of the 2 first year modules was mentioned in this discussion, only that I need to complete the electives to give me the required number of credits, for which I therefore registered. Now due to an incompetent UNISA employee I'm now incurring financial damages. - These complaints has fallen on deaf ears and I will now be forced to take matters further.

Secondly I am trying to complete the 2 modules but after numerous emails with UNISA I am still unable to register for one of them. The website would not allow me to register for one of them, as this supposedly required module does not show up in the list as one of the required modules. The standard response from the advisers is that the problem has been rectified and that I should try again to register.
