I am a student doing my Bed through Unisa. Each and every semester i encounter a new problem. One problem that is ever persistent is terrible student support. As a distance education student, support is often vital and when unavailable one is left with a very negative feeling towards the institution.
I have asked Unisa for a proof of registration for over a week now. I have sent countless e-mails to the relevant departments yet no help has been given. My study material arrived yesterday yet no registration letter has been included. My medical aid is waiting for this proof as well as my employer yet i cannot produce this letter as Unisa failed to assist and send me one.
It is unfortunate that I need to write a formal complaint yet as a student who pays for service, i expect to be helped especially in urgent matters. May i repeat that this is NOT the first time.
