Our child, aged 3 years old has been at Sandton Montessori for two terms. In that time he has been subjected to three teacher changes. Upon addressing this with the principal Tasneem Bismilla, we have unleashed a very defensive and aggressive response. A number of events have occurred which has culminated in her sending me an email accusing me of harassment of teachers and parents. In addition, she banned my child from the school for the rest of the term, even though we had paid for the entire term.
We responded to the letter of accusation and asked when we could collect his end of year report and all his work from the school. We did not receive any response, so we sent her a text message asking when we collect the report and my child's file. To date we have not had any response from them.
I am extremely appalled at the way in which my child was treated and I do not understand why he should be disadvantaged when the principal had a problem with us.
