I wrote an exam (International Law) during 1st Semester. i got my results back, and it said FAILED. i queried this as i felt there was no way i failed. However, UNISA did not get back to me and as i was a final year student, i re-registered for that subject in 2nd semester, costing me -R1500.00. i contined E-mailing UNISA but got no response. i then had to purchase a new text book as my old one had been outdated. This cost over R600. A few weeks before my International Law exam, i received an E-mail from my lecturer stating that i had indeed PASSED my exam in 1st semester. This led to my UNISA account being in the CREDIT.
I E-mailed the Registrar and got a response saying if i wanted i refund, i would just need to request one. I have been requesting this refund for over a month, having sent at least 5 E-mails. i feel extremely helpless as UNISA has NO CALL CENTRE!!!
PLEASE UNISA!!!! REFUND MY MONEY!!! i have sent this request and my banking details to every E-mail address i can find but still NO REPLY!!!
I should also be asking for my further wasted costs by purchasing a new text book that i now will never need.
