Unisa
Exam paper errata and inadequate exam procedures

I am a UNISA Student and have been for about 7 years now. I have been very forgiving of unisa's poor delivery, lack of interest and student support.

I have reached my breaking point.

On 21 October i wrote an Economics 1B exam at the Durban DLI Hall at 8:30-10:30. Invigilators and students prep for the commemencement of the exam 15 min before.

The question booklets were handed out and were meant to contain an entire sheet which is divided in 2 as an attendance register but did'nt. The invigilators look at each other blankly and after 5 min decide to hand out answer booklets which contain the attendance register. We were given time to read through our paper, to our disbelief there wasnt any spaces provided to answer our questions, total and sub-mark allocations incorrect, errata and grammatical errors.
Invigilators still do not try to rectify this, instead ignored frantic students. The main invigilator then (2 min till we're expected to write) calls head office- Pretoria and asks what should be done. No response and students are still in limbo. No answer booklets were handed to some students. UNISA jepardised my chances of passing as i was put under unnecessary anxiety and stress.
