I have previously complained on HelloPeter some time in the beginning of the year.
My issue is that I have studied at Wits University and i require exemptions for study units passed there. At first there were some granted but others were still pending for a period over a year. The inconsistency came about when a friend of mine had been granted exemptions for subjects that I had passed too. This lack of a standard sickened me and I had complained on HelloPeter.
I was relieved to get a response from Unisa, and I was in contact with someone from there. I had given them my friend's student number so that they could look into the matter and see why she had been granted exemptions and i had not. I mean we both passed the same subjects in the same year at the same university.
Anyway, they had gotten back to me and there were some exemptions granted. I was really over the moon about this even though they said it would take a little longer for the balance of the exemptions to be granted.
As off today, I am still waiting. And I need these exemptions to be granted so I can continue with my studies, as the subjects are pre-requisites for other subjects which I would like to register for.
