Lack of response BLG1502

I sent the following email a week ago and have had no response.

Dear Lecturer
I am very confused as I wrote the exam last semester and failed so I reregistered this semester, I was going through my study material yesterday for semester 2 and noticed that assignment 2 for semester 2 is almost the same as the semester 1 exam.
What confuses me is that the exam prep suggested learning your assignments for the exam which is exactly what I did, however I got to the exam and it was completely different to the assignment. Semester 2 assignment is semester 1 exam so does that mean semester 1 assignment is semester 2 exam?
How is anyone expected to pass the exam when the exam is set on work that is only covered in the 2nd semester?
I am in my final semester for my degree and would really like to pass so please advise me on these questions.
