I have been a student at UNISA for a few years now. I found out from a friend last year that it is possible to request a copy of your exam script. I requested three exams papers last year to gain some insight. I emailed the requested form E three times over a period of a month before finally receiveing only two of the papers. (02/07/12 to 06/08/12) I felt that one of my papers was unfairly marked with parts of my answers completely ignored which caused me to write a supplemenary exam the following semester. I still have not received the third script.
Recently (04/07/13) I have requested another exam paper that I recently wrote. I have requested the paper for the second time now (16/07/13) and am still waiting. I have been told to write a supplementary exam next semester for this paper as well which I feel is unfair. I received 87% for my assignments and felt confident in the exam so hopefully I will get some clarity.
I understand that studying via corrospondence is difficult and not for eveyone but UNISA make it an even bigger challenge by simply not responding. The only area that UNISA are consistent in is attending to accounts.
