After various attempts and sending of documents, my third application for exemption is denied.
My first application was not sufficiently certified (it was done by a school principal), the second application never reached Unisa's head offices from the Port Elizabeth branch. One subject of the third application is refused because: "Exemption from study units passed at your previous institution is not possible since the NQF levels of study units passed are not equivalent to those of the Unisa modules". Yet, for the second module's exemption it reads: "Please take note that you are requested to submit detailed syllabi of equivalent courses passed at your previous institution in order for Unisa to compare the contents to the following Unisa modules: ."
How then can I be denied the first module if details are needed for the second one? I send the applications according to the letter and every single time something more is missing.
I was now refused to take 12 subjects this year and thereby completing my degree because of these two subject for which it seems impossible to get exemption. Why should I do something I have already done and which I am competent to do?
