What should have been a quick 4 hour solar geyser installation has turned into a 9 day nightmare! We commissioned Marius Pretorius of S.E.G. Solutions (an Apollo Solar Geyser distributor) to supply and install one low pressure solar geyser and one high pressure solar geyser. Installation started on Sunday, the 21st of April 2013; by nightfall, we were told that things are proving a bit difficult because we have a flat roof. Monday morning they continued with the installation. On Monday night we were told that there is a problem with the pressure valve and that they would be back on Tuesday. On Tuesday they were back; but by nightfall we were told that we will not have water; because the system must be tested on Wednesday. On Wednesday they worked on the installation again. That night we told Marius that we are going to switch on our water. He agreed. At about 2am we woke up to the sound of water streaming into our house. One of the pipes was leaking badly. On Thursday, we were told that the plumber has another job and will not be able to work on our installation at all. We are now trying to get Apollo to audit the system for us. Marius has yet to contact us ito client satisfaction
