As per all other complaints, I too have been by Gustav. I foolishly fell for all his excuses off suppliers messing him around, cannot get material, wrong material being supplied, etc etc. I paid him for a pivot door and aluminium window on 03 Dec 2012. To date door not complete (after my begging and pleading, eventually got his supplier from Wynberg who does actual work to install door). Locks are poor quality and wrong, door is warped, varnishing is poor, door not sanded, gaps in joints, quality in general pathetic! Remains to install silver studs and fix all other problems but everyday is one excus after the other. I also foolishly even paid hom almost 99% of the order because I fell for his soppy excuses and stories and his cries (literally crying that i remove previous Hellopeter complaint or Not proceed with litigation) over the phone. This man WILL NOT deliver so please save yourself the misery. If anyone interested in joining in on the Legal ACTION I am taking, not just to Gustav HOEKSTRA, but ALSO to KAREN Hoekstra who is the Director of Shorea Carpentry, please inbox me, and we can proceed with joint litigation.
