Disappointed and despondent with Andy's paving:
Explained the situation that another contractor had absconded without completion. Patrick made promise that he would not abscond. I paid as per quote and contract 60% up front. Before completion I paid the remainder of 40% as a sign of good will before Christmas.
Patrick did not complete the job.
Patrick did not make or attempt to make any contact via e-mail, SMS or any other means. On the contract/quote it states: Please do not hesitate to call. I did. 78 times between the 2nd of January 2013 and the 15th of February 2013. Not once were the calls answered or returned.
Job incomplete. 16 sqm still remains. The paving that had been done is of poor quality. The edges are already loose. Paving was put in on the 10th of December 2012. (3 months).
